Salty Ramblings~
A place to come, sit, pull up a chair, and talk awhile
Awwww, a new testimony came in today:
" I work as a housekeeper at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH. A few days ago, I was feeling just a little bit down at work while I was straightening some magazines. I found a "salt leak" in a waiting room. It totally brightened my day! Thank you so much!! " Well yay God!!! Prayers surround Kathy as she continues on in her daily work as the hospital <3 We got a letter from a Pastor's wife that got me thinking, first let me share the letter:
"I absolutely love the idea of salt leaks and wondered if it was something anyone can get involved in or is it a private type thing with copyright protection, etc.? I am a pastor's wife and would love to get some folks at my church involved in doing something like this, but I didn't want to infringe on any copyright or anything. How can others get involved under this same idea and name if possible?" Oh my word, please take this Divine Experiment and run with it in your churches, in your youth groups, in your senior groups , anywhere God leads! I love when we all gather together and make salt leaks, there is fellowship, and fun. In the midst, and excitement, of sharing the Gospel with each other, we create in love! What a pairing!!! The answer is "Yes, Yes, Yes, please let's get our churches involved and continue to salt the earth with His creativity and Word!!! If you need help in getting started, please contact me privately at [email protected]. If you could put "Salty Sidewalks" in the memo line it will help me weed it out of my junk mail! :-) I seem to have lost my mojo in the last month. Have you ever been where I am? My paints are all out and ready to be called to arms, but......I'm just not feeling it. Life sometimes hits you where you weren't expecting it and your apple wagon gets toppled. But we gotta march on.
Sooooooo, in an attempt to get my mojo back and kindle our creative fires, I am issuing a challenge to us all. Summer is a time to grow. Our fruit is apparent and our limbs shelter many birds. Let's salt the earth this summer, what do you think about abandoning one leak a day? That shouldn't be too taxing, too strenuous. Are you in? Allowing our creative fruit to reap for His harvest? I pray abundance for our group, a bountiful harvest as we reap and sow all summer. Today I pray over our little group, peace and unity. I pray against the schemes of the enemy that would discourage and dismantle our Godly intentions. I pray that each hand, that is crafting works to be released, would be blessed abundantly. I pray that no weapon formed against us would prosper and that the Lord continues to multiply His efforts through our willing hearts and hands.
I pray for unity and focus, with malignant distractions falling to the wayside as we approach a new day. I pray that our hearts and our hands, our mouths and our ears, would only offer the fruits of the Spirit- quieting and binding the malignant fruits of the flesh. We declare this Holy Ground, with an expectation of a Holy Encounter through a burning bush, evident in the changes of our hearts. Inhabit this ministry and this ground, Lord Jesus. Amen and Amen! We ask Lord for you to be the presence and the love that we get to share with the world. <3 |
