Kids Reaching Deployed Soldiers

I am just so excited to share this with all of you!

Lisa Albinus, and the children's pastor at her church in NC did a wonderful thing by inspiring children in all three services one Sunday to make cards for two deployed US soldiers.

The children did an outstanding job, and I received a box with 94 cards!  It was just so heartwarming to see their sincere, heartfelt messages, and I know their efforts will be certain to bless these two soldiers, and those working alongside them.  There are Scriptures attached to every card, and it's just so exciting that these children are also breathing the Word of God into these hearts.

I have adopted a soldier through the Adopt A US Soldier organization.  When I realized how many cards there were going to be, I contacted them.  They were very excited about all of this and gave me the name and address of another deployed soldier.  So, these cards will be divided between these two soldiers.  As the founder of AAUSS so aptly said...these will be sure to bless two bases at once!

I'm so moved and incredibly grateful to these kids for making such a difference.  I know that their work will be dearly appreciated!!
